OH NO MY CHILDHOOD IS SLIPPING AWAY FROM ME
I CAN ALREADY FEEL THE ARTHRITIS COMING ON

Honestly, though, today was pretty darn swell. I thought it would be terrible, because all my family were away doing stuff except for my dad, and we usually get into huge arguments when we're alone together. -_-
But such was not the case. Having nothing better to do, I volunteered to go sailing with my cadet corp unit, and although we didn't end up rigging the boats, the day was spent rowing around and having a jolly good time. Then, we returned to the unit for lunch only to find that my friend and her dad had baked me a cake, and I awkwardly sat there while one of the master cadets brought it out and everyone sung and stuff. <3
okay I actually really, really don't like cake but this one was still nice even though I threw up after one piece of it.okay so then that was over and done with and my dad was driving me home and was like HEY LET'S GET YOU A PET FISH FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. (I'd asked for a goldfish and received a tank as my present this morning, because goldfish are cool and I'd wanted one for ages.) So we went to the pet shop.
Only there was a slight change of plan. See, I've always loved axolotls, perhaps even longer so than fish. And that's why I went home with this handsome fellow:
[link]His name is Wilbur and he's the most gangster Mexican Walking Fish you'll ever meet.
So yeah, now I'm 14 and stuff. Pretty cool. I also got rubber ducks from the same friend who made me a cake. Did I ever mention that I have a rubber duck collection? I'll post a picture one time. Mmhm.
